Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags."

"This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. "We all enjoyed staying in the property. It had plenty room and did not feel over crowded with 8 of us staying there. The water pressure for the showers was very good. Plenty plates/cutlery etc in the kitchen. Small point was that the oven took a very long time to cook anything but otherwise all good. We would come back."

The track up to the cottage has some slightly challenging moments for a standard small car that’s low to the ground, but we managed fine. Overall, a magical cottage in a magical setting."
