5/5 Excellent

cute little cottage in quiet valley by Ullswater
We really enjoyed our week in this little cosy cottage - part of a terrace of old miners' cottages. It had everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful owner. Enjoyed watching the red squirrels in the front garden whilst having breakfast on the garden bench. Walking along the banks of Ullswater and up to the high hills most days - it's very beautiful there.

Perfect for a short break
Nice little cottage in a great location. Helpful property manager.

5/5 Excellent

Beautiful location
Lovely cosy cottage which has retained lots of quirky features. Not full of mod cons, but a lovely rustic cottage set in a beautiful valley. Great walks straight from the door. Communication with Owner/manager faultless. We can’t wait to return.

Gorgeous little cosy cottage
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage - incredible location (we hiked up Helvellyn from the cottage), it was so cosy with the log burner and we watched red squirrels darting about in the garden. It was difficult to leave at the end!

5/5 Excellent

Beautiful little cottage in idyllic location
We loved our stay in Seldom Seen. Such a beautiful little cottage and the perfect little getaway to catch up with a friend. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We would have loved to be there in the winter to put the log fire on! The location is stunning looking down over Ullswater and was a great spot for exploring. We enjoyed walking down to Glenridding and over to Aira Force as well and driving around the lakes. Would definitely recommend!
