Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. "This was such a unique stay! We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the diner which was lovely food and service. The motel was clean, the bed was incredibly comfy, it has great technology in the rooms and a lovely lounge/reception area. One member of staff stood out to us on the Sunday night, we had a drink in the lounge area and she really went above and beyond making sure I had the perfect drink as they originally didn’t have the drink I wanted. All the staff we encountered were so lovely which made the experience even better! No negatives at all!"
