"Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream...

"Despite the stormy weather on our trip this part of the world is very beautiful and rugged. There are also lots of excellent eateries and fresh seafood in North Devon . The house itself is very relaxing and has everything you might need for a stay. The town itself of Appledore has a few nice pubs - the best one (The Champ) happens to be round the corner from the cottage."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Riversmeet is well appointed and furnished, with plenty of storage space, and is perfectly located to take advantage of the comings and goings of the tide, the glorious sunsets, the boats and the many dogs and their walkers on the beach, all from your sofa. We never saw or heard about a visit from a parking warden and people seem to park on the road regardless but we bought a week's parking from the Commodore Hotel, just a few minutes walk away, which...

"Had a lovely 3 night break, cottage is lovely a really nice comfy bed and furnishings very nice, garden front and back gardens could do with a bit of tlc but can see that someone has started to put some plants in, would really make the cottage perfect if the outside pace were improved. Had an issue with getting onto property due to Vrbo giving us an incorrect code for the key box!! Appledore is a great place everything just a short stroll away, good pubs and The Yard is a fab place to eat."
