"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays."

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"The stay was excellent considering the owners high level of care and lovely property. No problem there. VRBO on the other hand mislead us by assuring us that the property was mobility accessible which it was not.. This created significant problems for the severely dialed member of the group and the carer. We double checked accessibility just weeks prior to arrival date and were again assured the property was accessible. It was not."

The hosts included many of the necessary items (soaps, towels, washing detergent for washing machine and dishwasher etc) and the kitchen is well supplied with utensils and cookware. "Our favourite Sheffield hotel, at the moment. It is set in a beautiful location on the quayside but still easy to walk to the city centre. Cars are safe in the carpark at a reasonable rate - £8.00 for 24 hours. Our room was amazing and had 2 double beds with a bath/ shower and tea making facilities/ iron & ironing board. We also had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the canal. Everything was clean and check in was easy. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, as we couldn’t see any vegan options on the menu but the wonderful True Love bar on the quayside had a fabulous vibe and a perfect pizza menu. Breakfast at the hotel catered above and beyond our needs and all staff were so accommodating and went the extra mile. We loved every minute and although there is building work going on at the hotel at the moment, it didn’t affect us at all. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Quayside Best Western. "
