"Reserved the property two years ago for the 2024 eclipse. Lodge was spacious enough for my adult children and guests as well as some of my siblings families. "The cabin was great! The AC wouldn’t go lower than 70 but we did bring our own fans so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The pool was great! There were towels down their for your use, but they were tiny on adults. Also, there was no trash can down there but I did speak to a person about that and they thought it was a great idea. Overall I absolutely didn’t have any problems, everyone was super nice and very relaxed!"

"We were able to book this house on such short notice for an unexpected family event. The house was clean and had a full kitchen. With our downtime, we had a lot of outdoor games to play and also watched th sunset by the frio. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay. We enjoyed the roomy house and all of the accomdations."

"House was very clean and could accomodate even more people than our 7 member family. Kitchen was well stocked and the river toys were a big surprise. You don't need to bring extra chairs as plenty are provided. The couch in the living room is especially comfortable. Saw a variety of bitds from the back porch along with deer in the mornings. "It was my wife and I and our two dogs. One of our dogs is a lab mix and she took every opportunity to get in the water. She quickly learned the location of steps for easy access. We did experience one hiccup and that was the sporadic hot water. I called Veronica and the next thing I know, the maintenance guy shows up and troubleshoots the tankless water heater. Come to find out, it was spider webs preventing a full heating. All in all, this place is absolutely gorgeous and is very secluded."

"This place is an amazing, family friendly place to stay. From picnicking down by the spring to catching lightening bugs and seeing the bats then walking up to swim in the luxury pool! We loved every minute of it and the host was VERY accommodating and helped us with every question we had. 100% recommend for a couple or for a family!! Everything is a walk away. You don’t even have to leave"

"The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!"
