Good central location, met all my needs.

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Pros: Location in the old part of Barcelona. Room was ideal on the ground floor with small patio. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast menu a bit stylized could benefit from more fresh produce, but understand why the hotel offer what they do.
Location: Walking distance from all the main sites in Barcelona.
Found Hotel to be everything was lead to believe, staff very helpful, good location, rooms clean and well laid out. Happy to recommend to other travelers

Boutique Hotel, small single rooms.

Posted 05-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, breakfast choice and room cleanliness all good.
Cons: Colour scheme cold and uninviting. Size of single rooms.
Location: Within walking distance of most of the main Barcelona attractions. Restaurants and Metro stations all close. Next door to small tapas bar.
Overall decoration very grey and soul-less. Foyer seats not at all comfortable, very rarely used. Breakfast room uninviting and air conditioning too cold. Single rooms extremely small with no view from window at all. Charge per room/per person is higher than for two people sharing, who get rooms with balconies and/or large terrace area.Yet another example of the hotel industry victimising single travellers. Unacceptable. If you book a double room or more, you will probably like this hotel.

Great location. Walking distance from everything.

Posted 24-Jun-2014
Pros: Location: walking distance from a lot of attractions / buildings.
Location: Close to Ramblas - Od city center - main stop for the city bus tours (which is an excellent way to visit the city and access all the main attractions)
Staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is well located (walking distance from the shuttle from airport, metro station, old city and a lot of the main buildings / attractions to visit in Barcelona), but remains quiet (no traffic noise whatsoever). Rooms are a bit small (but then again, I rented the basic room for 2). Overall great hotel to stay in Barcelona.

Fantastic 2 Star Hotel in a Great Location

Posted 06-Jun-2014
Pros: Quiet location, close to centre and quadruple bedroom
Cons: kettle and tea & coffee in bedroom
Location: 5 mins from the La Rambla and Pla├ža de Catalunya and Metro Station.
We had a family break during last week in May 14. We booked this hotel as it offered a family quadruple room and we only wanted a 2 or 3 star hotel. We were not expecting too much from the hotel, however what a pleasant surprise; the hotel is only 5 minutes from the centre of Barcelona in a very quiet street and the hotel very well decorated, clean and tidy. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate 4 adults and the bathroom had a good sized shower and came with plenty of toileteries. The wife and I shared a double sofa bed (which was surprisingly comfortable) and my son (21) and daughter (15) each had a single bed. We did not have breakfast in the hotel (10 Euros for a small continental style breakfast) however, there are numerous cafes open from 07.00 in the area which offer both cooked and continental breakfast for less than 10 Euros.

Pros: Very quiet street but close to commerce, restaurants and attractions.
The Hotel is very well located, 3-4 blocks away from subway station and commercial areas. Rooms and common areas are very clean and tidy, and the hotel staff is kind and helpful.

For once...

Posted 29-Apr-2014
Pros: It's in a relatively quiet area of the city and is a small walk away from the middle of town.
...A hotel actually has a thin pillow as well as the great big, giant, hard as nails version. It's the little things that count.

Not worth the price

Posted 25-Apr-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service, and breakfast
Location: Metro stations, Bus stations, Palace of Catalan Music, Arc de Triomf
I personally won't choose this hotel for our next visit. The location was good, but that's was the only positive thing about this hotel. We once asked the front staff to break our money to the smaller bills, but he asked us to go to the Bank which wasn't open yet. And, when we asked the direction to the bus station, just to be sure we are heading to the correct direction, he gave us the exasperated look. Well, if we are not a tourist, we won't be staying in the hotel, will we?? Anyway, it was not worth the price.

great spot

Posted 21-Apr-2014
We are a family of 4 who stayed here for just one night on a quick stopover in Barcelona. Got into our room at 10 AM which was amazing! Staff super helpful and room was great, we had a 5th floor family room with a tiny balcony. The rooftop patio wasn't open which was a bit disappointing, but it didn't matter too much. Great location, 5 minute walk to Place de Catalunya and about 15 minutes into the heart of the gothic quarter.
