“Good value, friendly and most important Clean”
We were happy with our stay at the Meridian Inn. Clean! Friendly! and very functional as kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It is reasonably priced athough we are not sure what we exactly paid as we booked it as a package through Expedia. Would highly recommend it as a good value hotel. It is not on the beach but only steps away.
“Best value hotel in Barbados”
Very clean, big room with small kitchenette.Has everything that you need for self catering holiday. The staff and owner are extremely helpfull.Hotel has free WIFI.
“Barbados best hotel Can"t wait to go back.”
Meridian hotel is located in a good location the staff is excellent the rooms are great ande the owners are very friendly . this is my second time going there ,and I plan to go there every time I am in Barbados. Thanks to the staff.
“Loved it”
This is the third time to Barbados, and the first time staying at the Meridian, it will be the only place I stay from now on, it is not lavish but it is clean, comfortable, and the hotel staff are wonderful. It is located close to everything you want, yet out of the way so that you can sit outside and relax without being in the center of things. It gave you a feel of being in more of a apartment and less of a hotel, I absolutely loved it and can not wait to return. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Basic hotel and was adequate for me”
I wanted a room with air conditioning available. I did not need an inclusive resort with tennis, spa and a pool. This hotel was basic, and with the breeze flowing through the room I used the a/c sparingly. With the kitchenette available, I saved on breakfast in the morning by making a cup of tea and having toast, although I could have had breakfast, lunch and dinner if I wanted to. The room was cleaned everyday, and the all the staff very friendly, including the owners of the hotel, who were onsite. It is probably less then a 5 minute drive from the St Lawrence Gap nightlife, and the beach is a 1 minute walk away.
“Its was ok, but could be improved”
This hotel is good if your on a Budget. Very basic. There was a mistake with our booking of the room with Expedia. The hotel staff were fabulous and sorted out the room so that we were in a double room. The room was clean with aircon, however we did find 2 alive cockroaches crawling on the floor. The walls of the hotel room are thin. We could hear the guest next door at night time. Overall, good holiday with friendly and helpful hotel staff.
“Cheap and Cheerful :-)”
Great hotel for those travelling on a budget. The room was clean and in good enough state, however, the locks were a bit rusty on the doors and were a bit hard to open and close. Also, there was a wonderful blue bucket on the balcony, into which the water from the aircon dropped and which had to be emptied daily - not fun. The aircon was a very old one and very noisy indeed and not remote controlled, although it did work ok. The staff of the Meridianne Inn were AWESOME, very friendly and helpful! The location was FANTASTIC, 2 mins (if that) from the beautiful Dover Beach and 10 minuted walk from the infamous Gap (St.Lawerence Gap), where a lot of partying takes place. If you are after a great deal and just a place to sleep at night, go for this without any doubts. If you want the 5-star luxury and don't want to leave the surroundings of your hotel - you will not be satisfied here. I was overall very happy with the deal I got and would definitely go back to the same hotel if I get a similar deal again. If you are an outdoorsy kinda person and don't want to spend all day in a hotel room and want to travel on a budget - you will enjoy it here without a doubt.
“Great and comfortable”
The Meridian Inn was very comfortable for us. It's very basic but homely. Having a kitchenette was a plus. The staff was very nice and was very helpful when we needed help. We checked in really late but everything was setup for us so that we could still get to our room. They even helped us move to a room to the first floor because my husband has a bad back so he couldn't really use the stairs. Not only were they nice enough to change rooms for us but upgraded our two twin beds into a king size bed which was a plus. Will definitely stay again if we need to return to Barbados.
“Not bad at all”
Good location. Very close to the "Gap" nitelife. Great staff. More than adequate for a week's stay. Really loved the fact that they had a mini-kitchenette inside the room. That saved a lot of money as eating out isn't exactly cheap in Barbados
“Will come back!”
Great value for your many! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and eating on your balcony.Grocery store is nearby. This hotel is perfect for traveling on the budget. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
