"I got married at this hotel in 1994. I have always loved its location. However the rooms are so out dated. The hallways outdated. The garage is dark coming in at night. You have to call the lobby so that someone could let you in from the garage so you can check in. The lobby is the only update. The air conditioner is loud in the room. It’s perfect for a long weekend or business trip in and out you have your necessities and a beautiful view. They do serve breakfast. Evanston is a beautiful town next to Chicago so you get to enjoy both and the lake front in both cities."

"The Godfrey is my go to hotel when in Chicago. It’s the best boutique hotel in town and is wonderfully eccentric. The 110 Rooftop Bar is fantastic and Roy is the best bartender in Chicago by far! Always have a great stay."
