"Good central location for Matlock (not up a hill). Park very close for dog walking. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Car parking a bit tight as mentioned but ok for a average car - the drive in is easy, backing out slow but no real problem. Very nice stay esp. the easy short walk to all central pubs and shops, after a day walking in the surrounding hills."

"When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. "Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "

"A very pleasing alternative to a hotel room. My apartment was clean and tidy and perfectly situated for my visit. Lots of rowdy venues nearby but the apartment was just far enough away to stop this from being intrusive. One minor observation. I was surprised to find a socket for a round pin plug but no USB port.
