The hosts provided lots of reading materials including about area attractions. Pat greeted us when we arrived and spent time explaining the heating, appliances, and the area."

"When we were planning our trip to Ireland, we knew we wanted to experience a bit of everything; which of course included a thatched roof cottage on a farm, and The New Thatched Cottage was absolutely perfect. "A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host."

"Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area....

"The home is large and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Thank you for leaving some food we didn’t expect that, it was a nice touch. Just a note all the coffee pods that were in the home were the wrong size but we were able to find some that fit in town.Maybe if you put a note in the home exactly what kind it takes it would be easier for the guest. The home was just a 10 minute drive to Adare and a great location for day trips. We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home."

"Fantastic apartment, very will outfitted and comfortable. We loved the pellet stove! Ann was very helpful and left us with all we needed for morning breakfast as a bonus. It is a small detail but the towels were the best I have ever experienced."
