"Wow! What a truly amazing place to stay! Sure the resort is, in places, still being constructed but, unless you’re very picky, you really wouldn’t notice. And it’s such a lovely lovely place to visit - thoroughly recommended and we will be back! Gorgeous location and soooo quiet. We asked and the resort was 40% full but you’d never notice and we pretty much had the pool and sunloungers to ourselves each day. Spotlessly clean, although watch out, housekeeping comes real early, like 8:30 a.m....

"Overall the property is nice with an excellent breakfast but cleanliness and staff were disappointing and unfriendly. Check-in took a very long time, we had to sit for 20 min. before we got our key, hairs in the bathroom and one really big tuft of hair on the shower wall. "The Octant Vila Monte is a beautiful hotel set into the countryside about 4-5 miles from the beach. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and peaceful as the hotel, its grounds and our room were presented beautifully. The staff in all areas were so kind, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh produce and a stunning view and the hotel restaurant served amazing food each day. The adults only po was t heated but with the sunshine that wasn’t a problem. I borrowed a bike to cycle into the local towns which was a great addition. All in al, highly recommend - we’ll be back as soon as we can!"
