"It was absolutely incredible from the first second to the last. Everything from check in, to how clean and comfortable it was, to the smile goodbye. I think what really set them aside from the rest is how the employees really felt like they were happy to be there and were looking to go above and beyond at every second. Truly spectacular and special mention to Beatriz and everyone in the bar area, we’ve had a truly memorable time. A massive thank you and for us there is no other hotel in Porto."

"For us the Torel Palce was perfect. Beautiful quiet rooms with real character, stone marble and timber. Fantastic location, walking distance to so much of Porto and Gaia. Staff were all lovely - lots of help from reception team for dinner and Fado bookings and directions to key sites. Breakfast very good. Nice selection and lots of egg hot choices and not too large bearing in mind how much other eating and drinking is to be done in Porto. We thought we were splashing out when we booked but...

"Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well."

"All staff very helpful and courteous. Restaurant excellent. Lovely room. Very disappointed one evening no hot water so unable to shower. Also we have always been given use of a room for a shower if flight later than checkout. None offered...told to use reception toilet to get changed. Not a 5 star hotel quality. Also turn down service only made bed once and lack of tea bags and milk in room. Stand out employee young man waiter in Restaurant. "
