"The staff and food at dinner were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t run at quite the same standard with a lot of mistakes and delays on orders. The room was nice, although the finer details could do with a bit more attention (dust in corners, dirty grout in bathroom). Bed nice and comfy, unfortunately we were near the road so a bit noisy but that can’t be helped. "The staff was very pleasant and the room was quite comfortable. Breakfast was very filling and we ate on the terrace for dinner. All quite lovely. Easy walking to restaurants and shopping."

" The room was very boujee. Creature comforts such as robes, slipers, and toiletries get a big thums up. Room 19. The door handle to the room door was concerningly loose. It was escalated to the front desk but still awaiting repair after two nights stay. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was too hot. It could do with controls that we could adjust. "

"Why do hotel designers think it is OK to have an ensuite bathroom with no door? A curtain is not an adequate replacement for a door. This was a big issue for us. Also the only seating in our room was 1 dining chair and 1 stool when there was room for something more comfortable. I don't want to have to sit on the bed, particularly at the price this hotel came in at. Everything else was very good."
