"After initially been allocated a Courtyard room, that we were not happy with, on the 2nd day of our 3 day stay we were offered another room within the main hotel that was a different experience altogether. Space, furnishings and soundproofing all seemed much better, and on a par with previous visits.The facilities in the Hotel, and within the grounds provide plenty to do for families or those wanting to just relax. "It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc."

"Not our first time and not our last at the Woodland lodges. Great deal for families or groups. Lodge is roomy and well maintained. In the heart of Aviemore, easy to walk the strip. Had great weather so walked everyday. Breakfast buffet welcome start to the day. "

"We loved our stay in the Balmoral lodge. Excellent location, well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny thing I’d mention is that in the facilities there is ‘free toiletries’ listed, but it was only hand soap so we did have to nip to the local shop. So maybe just take that off the description as it may be misleading? We’d love to come back again soon, we had a fantastic time. Thank you! "
