"Property is in a small town so little bit limited for the restaurants options. Property has nice period features and good size executive rooms. Staff was very nice and breakfast lovely fresh. There is also lovely garden at the back of the property for an evening drink in the warmer weather. "

"This was the second time we have stayed here. It is a hotel in a listed building. The rooms are a little smaller than you might like but are very well presented. A listed building, so no air conditioning, small windows, no views and no lift. Bedrooms are all on the first floor so no good if you can't get up stairs. Would have been nice if the young man in reception had offered to help with the luggage as we were obviously pensioners. Location is perfect, just a walk across a bridge...

"We enjoyed a one night stay in the Red House. It was very pleasant with tea, coffee, water, and biscuits available on arrival. The hostess was welcoming and had time for her guests. Breakfast was an optional extra, which I liked. We only paid £57 for our stay, considering its proximity to the centre of town. "

"Lovely quiet and secluded location, we have been there three times now. Some attention to minor repairs needed, cabinet drawer knobs loose and falling falling off at times."

"Very convenient in town position, secure building with key code entrance from the street then stairs to the 1st floor entrance area with decking seating area. Entry key code for room key. Small kitchen area with tea & coffee but unfortunately no kettle! Very pleasant bedroom with TV comfie bed plenty of draws & wardrobe. Shared shower room very well designed. All very clean and well presented."

"We had a really lovely short break at White Cottage. The room was comfortable and well equipped, Ellen obviously makes sure that you have everything you could possibly need .The fridge in the lobby with milk and water that you can help yourself to is a great touch and very convenient. The dining room is welcoming and the breakfast is plentiful, you couldn’t wish for more. I would highly recommend White cottage, Ellen is a lovely friendly host."

"It's a little gem!! Lovely location in Lincolnshire, near enough for the main birdlife sites. Run by Emma and Mark, a super friendly couple. The garden room enables a great space to sit in and relax, away from the bedroom. Breakfast was super-tasty and just the right amount of food. Great little home from home. Would stay here again without hesitation."
