"We stayed in the hotel for a few nights and we were really impressed. The beds were really comfortable and the room was of a good size. The interior of the hotel, especially the lounge, is simply stunning. We loved the breakfast, especially the egg station where a lovely cook made really tasty omelettes and scrambled eggs. The hot chocolate was a really nice touch. There is a selection of bread and fruit and some Asian dishes. Most of the clientele isn't into Western breakfast but we still had everything we needed, perhaps some cheese would have made it ideal. The location was good. We never had a problem ordering a taxi to the hotel, we also rented a scooter so it was easy to get around as the hotel offers parking. The hotel has quite a large swimming pool which was a great addition. Overall a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay in this hotel again if we even come back to Chiang Rai."

"It’s nice but it’s a bit run down. I’d say it’s more a 3 star with nice service. Breakfast could be better but we didn’t prepay so only did it once. It is secluded but close enough to easily get a ride. Staff are great which we find to be true all over Thailand"

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the golden pine resort , the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was very tasty and much food to choose from , the swimming pool was large and clean for a relaxing swim after a day of sight seeing , the staff were very helpful and kind people , The resort is just out of the city with rice farming around and views of the mountains , it was nice and quiet at this resort .
