I didn’t even know they made beds that hard, it’s as bad as sleeping on the floor. When we arrived, they gave us a tea to welcome us, which was nice. We sipped them as we walked to our room and the next morning, the glasses were full of ants. The fridge was not cold and smelled of leaking refrigerant. At that point, we were tired and grossed out so we asked to be moved. The staff were kind and accommodating. But the bed in the new room was just as hard. We were very uncomfortable and barely slept the whole time we were there The positives are that the location is fantastic and very walkable. Close to everything, the BIG night market is easy walking and a must do experience in Chiang Rai. The Blue Temple is fairly close, and is walkable for people who like to walk. Room was good staff helpful and friendly breakfast was not so good we only went in once did not bother for the remaining 3 days of our stay. Hotel is in a great location close to the night market bars and restaurants. The Irish pub turn left out of the hotel and left on the first street serrves a good combination of thai and Irish pub food. Staff very friendly with quick service.
