"The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! "

"Gorgeous property with genuinely lovely staff. The on-site naturalist Chamu was particularly fantastic. I wanted to address two things that I believe could genuinely help the property improve. 1. Staff seems mainly hired from local community, which is lovely. We found everyone to have the absolute right attitude and approach to service. However, more training is required. "Hill Tree Inn was a very pleasant stay. The resort is relatively new and very well maintained. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good however not really multi cuisine as advertised. The spa was very good as well. The offer of free wifi at the Inn is misleading as there was no wifi at all. I gather the availability is very poor at best and was not available the whole time we were there. All staff was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended."

"The property is in a good position uphill from the town (which we found dirty and disappointing ) but walkable. The room was a good size. Complimentary Afternoon tea tasting. Breakfast choices were good from the buffet. The property was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"It was a delightful property. Deer come right up to your room's window and look in at you. Their dinner spread was good both in taste and in variety, and this is amazing considering it was a jungle resort and so far from any city. We were eight adults and a toddler, and all of us had a lot of fun. The hotel booked us for a dawn safari; and we also used the pool, the game room, and the children's trampoline."
