"I like this hotel it's got a bit of character about it. The staff are friendly. The only complaint is that I stayed for two days and on the second day my room wasn't made up, for some reason this happened the last time that I stayed here. Despite this it won't stop me staying here again."

"Charming old luxury hotel. Great spa add on. Nice integrated hotel restaurants on premise. Room fixings need some updating to todays look. Rooms are not as large as some other fine hotels. Wonderful old world luxury demeaner with lounging areas on the first floor and spa included with room. Seems to be a center for many activities. Positive experience for guests."

"Fantasy food, make sure you get dinner and breakfast here. Staff were lovely too. Cabins and hot tubs were great. WiFi not possible in the cabins and no phone signal so you have to switch off!"

Yes, the WiFi did not work from the room & even down stairs one had to jump through hoops for only momentary connection. That aside, everything else was world class including always polite reception & room cleaning staff. "
