"My wife and I booked a last minute weekend away to Loch Lomond. We chose Duck bay as the reviews were very good and we were glad we did! The hotel was fantastic as was the restaurant!"

"Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time. "

"We had the family room which had lots of space, and a table, and 2 full bathrooms! Check in was easy and there were plenty of parking options. "

"Our toilet would not flush. They had to have someone show us how to do it. It has a handle. You flush it, but it didn’t work. The person showed us to pump it until it flushed. That was at least 5 times. I think they could afford to fix a toilet, and it should be a priority. I’m surprised they would rent a room that doesn’t. Otherwise, it was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff and service was very friendly and helpful."

"Booked a long weekend away here and we absolutely loved it! Its such a lovely hotel with quaint and interior and furniture. The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. "It is an older hotel which I knew beforehand, and chose it. It is an historic hotel, as such does not have the same amenities as a new hotel, however there isn’t a “new” hotel in Rothesay. The room was a good size, bright with large windows….I had a great view of the bay. Staff were excellent, breakfast was very good, lots of options. I had dinner at the hotel twice, food was excellent, service good, prices reasonable. The maitre’d was excellent, very well trained in his role and as a result was...
