"Hotel was very clean but was let down by the food. Breakfast was very good, bar meals basic but overpriced. A bad experience in the restaurant left us very disappointed. One member of party had a steak that was very tough & inedible, he was offered a replacement but it had put him off eating, apart from the waitress no one bothered to come to the table to apologise or discuss options and we were charged for the meal. "Great value for money, exactly what I needed for a work stay over. Area is nice and very close to the beach. Staff are friendly and available. Breakfast was good too, full English which set the morning off good. Only issue was the shower took ages (5-10 mins) to get warm, and never got hot. Other than that, would recommend."

"The hotel is set in glorious grounds and woodlands and within easy reach of both Conwy and Betws-y-Coed. The room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent, including cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon....more than enough! "

Only able bodied people as no lift and stairs and hotel on a steep hill.would have rated 5 stars but the mattress was badly worn in twin room and dipped in the middle so felt like you rolled into it which effected a good nights sleep. The property is dated so if that’s not your thing you might be better off with the Premier inn"
