The Hotel enjoys a stunning location, and provides excellent food (and good beer!). The overall experience is very relaxing; it makes a great base for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia. We will be returning!
Very nice people ... take the time to talk about the local culture, environment. Really enjoyed meeting with Mandy, the owner of the establishment.
The food was absolutely superb (which was very very unexpected). Coming from NYC, I have high expectation. Definitely go for the pasta with alfredo sauce and tikka chicken ... a bit diverse but they did a great job on all the dishes.
Location is very good ... short drive to Caenarfon Castle.

We always stay over night here when visiting our daughter, who is studying at Bangor University, the rooms are always clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is fantastic, I would recommend the the steak pie.

We loved this hotel. Old fashioned in the best way- Antique furniture, shining brass work, elegant staircase, open fires, dark polished wood, etched mirrors. Very good food both at breakfast and evening meals. Superb setting opposite the Victorian pier, with magnificent views of sea and mountains.

I booked this hotel initially because it was close to where I needed to be and reasonably priced. When I arrived at night the owner was very polite and keen to ensure I was not only welcomed but that everything was explained and my requirements fulfilled. The room was very well presented in what is clearly a warm family home with separate locations for guests and the family. The room and bathroom was very clean and breakfast was to a high standard. It is unfortunate I had to leave early so did not get chance to see the scenery which I am sure would be amazing. All in this was a pleasant experience and I will definitely return if I am this way again.
