Stayed at the Rossio Garden hotel for 7 nights, this is a lovely new hotel (just opened in May'14) it has a modern design, decorated in striking red, grey & black which looks great! Our room 505 was a good size, the bed was extremely comfortable, it was also very quiet despite the fact we were in the middle of a busy area, this is probably due to the double glazed windows. Our room was kept very clean with plenty of fresh towels every day, we were also left bottles of water & chocolate truffles every day, lovely touch! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (8 euros) is well worth it, much cheaper than eating breakfast outside hotel! The location is very central, just a few yards and you're in Rossio Square, there are also loads of nice restaurants right next to hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, book it, you will not be disappointed!
"Great hotel for the price int he centre on Lisbon"
This hotel is very centrally located int he centre minutes walk away from the metro station. The staff were very helpful and the rooms are well equipped, on the small size but great value. Lovely breakfast served in a bright breakfast room and very relaxed. Great free WiFi throughout the hotel and good speed.Worth a return trip when I am back to Lisbon.

A hotel in Lisbon to experience the unique atmosphere of the city in the singular district of Baixa, in the heart of the …More
It was an awesome room with great amenities - there was a Mac and an iPad in the room. I loved not having to pay for the in-room safe. I know, a small thing but I HATE paying for the safe and internet, which was also free. Everyone was warm and nice. I really enjoyed my stay. I could not have asked for a better location, close to many buses, Metro, sights, shopping, restaurants. It was perfect.
"Overall, One of our better experiences in a city."
We wanted a hotel for 5 nights as a base to explore Lisbon. Our requirement list was good communication links as Lisbon has tourist sites spread over a wide area (tick as the hotel has a metro entrance outside the front door), a spacious room so claustrophobia does not set in (tick as 20 sq M), breakfast (tick), room safe (tick) and good user experience in reviews (tick). These can be selected before booking, but other aspects are a matter of luck and here we were pleasantly surprised to find most of them in the Sana Reno: - quiet as little noise from outside nor in; very clean; air con that works efficiently; shower and lights that all work efficiently; beds that allow a good night's sleep etc. Of course there are always improvements that could be made and here I passed on two requests to reception when we checked out - real orange juice at breakfast and coffee that tasted like coffee! Now if these are our only negative points then I call Sana Reno a very good hotel
In the middle of town; convenient for everything we wanted. Knowledgeable staff always willing to give helpful advice
concerning trips etc.
We were on 5th floor so noise from street below was not a problem.
Reviews had given this hotel a very good rating which was right on the mark. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in giving directions to places of interest, restaurants and getting around Lisbon. Location was good once you learned where you were in the city. It was close to metro, Hop On Hop Off Bus and high-end fashion stores.
Attractive modern design and very well maintained. Only negative would be that the rooms are small -- especially by American standards. Good buffet breakfast in the morning. The morning we left, we had a very early taxi pickup and the hotel provided a box breakfast because it was before the breakfast room was open.
The hotel was a very nice surprise and especially for the price.
We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel the small 'eh' sign was not what we were expecting, and there is a block of flats nearby also called the same. Once we found it the staff were helpful, and the rooms were fine. Bathrooms very well fitted, clean and beds comfortable. The rooms are minimally furnished - lots of room! But the lack of carpet made it feel less luxurious, but was very practical. Breakfast was good, and it was easy to get to the centre of the city, by metro or bus and the aerobus and metro both stop nearby on their way in to the city.It was quiet despite being full, and I would recommend this to others.
