"beach front hotel, literally the dining room is 3 meters fromthe beach. Lots of restaurants and ahops nearby and 5 minute walk from the Abrao pier. The swimming pool was closed due to renovations. "Perhaps the best hotel at Ilha Grande. Located away from Abrao. 5 min by hotel boat taxi, cost 20 BRL (4 USD) during the day hours and 40 BRL (8 USD) when it is dark, i.e. after 6pm. "My fiance and I had a few extra days in the Rio area and found this amazing Pousada on the site. It was charming, quaint, and had the most amazing views. We had several quiet nights here and loved the darling breakfasts wheeled to our table on a cart. "Campsite has a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Probably the cleanest campsite we have ever visited. Facilities are great and everything in the kitchen works fine. Staff is very helpful and speak okay English. We were allowed to store our luggage from checkout until our boat left in the evening. The tours that the hostel recommend is a bit expensive though."

Brilliant stay! Loved the place!
"Absolutely amazing stay! Such a convenient location, only a 5min walk from the main town, and there were a couple of restaurant bars right next door. The property is right on the beach and they give you chairs and things if you want them. Staff were super friendly. They offered for us to store our bags and use the property if we needed to kill time before our ferry and spoke some English too. The only thing is it isn’t the best noise proofed, but that seems to be the case with all the other hotels too, so we can’t fault them for it. It wouldn’t stop us from staying again! Breakfast was good. My partner fell in love with the town itself! Would highly recommend."
