"Spent five days here it’s a quiet location but connected with bus and direct airport tram connections right outside the tram passes through city centre too. There’s a shopping mall opposite with a free car park too. We walked up the main streets to the pubs and restaurants as weather was fab! The lobby, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful every day even when they were very busy. "The room was very spacious with a great en-suit toilet that had a good size shower cubicle ( I’m I bit big around the belly ) their was a smart tv that I could log on to my Netflix if wanted to or YouTube etc plenty of usb sockets to charge my phone snd headphones , the staff were very pleasant snd helpful would stay again if in the area in the future. "

"The place is lovely where it is. A little hard to find as I was used to the old entrance to the race course which has now changed. The bathroom toilet set was suited to the bowl it was on and some of the walls were still not painted. However if you ignored those things. Everything else was very good. It will be a lot better when they can get a chef or cook for the restaurant side of the business as there wasn’t one when we visited over 2 days. "

"We arrived at about 4 pm reception staff very friendly and all three rooms were ready for us. The hotel was clean & tidy and bar staff also very welcoming. The breakfast was well laid out and plenty of choice too. The stay was very enjoyable & will certainly stay at the Mercure again in the future."
