A beautiful hotel, exceptionally clean. A large wedding departed the day we checked in and another checked in while we were there. They book the majority of the hotel, so it does feel a bit like normal guests are surplus. Areas sectioned off, music pounding, wedding guests returning late at night, waking us. Our Air con broke, we told front desk, three hours later nobody had come, had to call again and someone was sent. Keys to our room stopped working so we were stuck in the hallway, again three calls and 40 mins for someone to bring new keys ( we were just out of the pool, so didn’t want to go to reception) My husband used the spa, which he said was perfect, but again, no one to help/assist on where to go once he checked in. Everything just felt a little like a battle, hiccups happen but it’s how they are resolved that leaves an impression.

We went for this place to enjoy the beach, beach resort - this was a wellness spa and the beach is messed up with port construction- a massive part of the beach is gone. They need to make people aware of this, I would not recommend this as a beach resort - it is a wellness resort - the fact that it is on the beach is just - wrong advertising. I would like my money back based on inaccessible beach. Rest of the resort amenities are good. The SPA is amazing. Food is good and the staff are super polite.

The property is overrated. Not so good food and the property is like halveli and Mahal. No outside view

We stayed here for 1 night before travelling back to Mumbai, me and my 11 yo son. The hotel is on beautiful grounds and spread out with lots of low rise bungalows. We were given a 1st floor room with a beautiful view of the sea. If you want a week beach holiday, this would be a lovely place, you could stay here happily. The room was lovely and clean. There were a few bungalows being renovated so it would have been upsetting to be in one of the bungalows nearby with drilling and building works going on all day. Having been to 6 other hotels on our stay we had come accustomed to the amazing service in India, so was disappointed with the service at this hotel, as this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. At breakfast we were totally ignored, at the pool bar we stood there for about 15 minutes waiting, the pool staff weren't overly friendly. We came here as it listed a lot of activities for my son to do, but most of these weren't on, so there was just a zipline and wall climb, which took about 15 minutes. Couldn't find the football and no zorbing in the pool. Prices for food and drink here were extremely expensive, especially when you aren't getting the service. You can walk along the beach and there are lots of restaurants to eat at. Outside is a baskins robbins and we ate at a lovely restaurant outside the gates by the roundabout. Overall it is probably a nice place to stay for a family holiday if you get all inclusive but we wouldn't stay again.

Nice and peaceful location, lovely restaurant stuff but awful reception: they were neiter able to connect with a kayak tour provider nor to get a cab on time. If you organize yourself, lovely and calm place just 3km from Alleppey jetty.

We stayed at the West Island wing of the property. While the rooms and setting are beautiful, be aware that the restaurants attached to the West Island rooms do not have a liquor license. If you want a beer, wine, or cocktail with dinner, you have to take the shuttle boat across the backwaters to the main property on the East side. It is a noticeable inconvenience for a 5-star resort, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Would easily rate this 5 stars if not for that daily inconvenience.
