Just what we wanted to end our stay in Portugal after visiting Lisbon, Sintra and Porto.
The grounds and hotel were "chill" -- peaceful and restful. The staff was wonderful.
We had a side trip to Nazare' and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach while having a cocktail.
The staff was helpful in directing us to a pharmacy just a short distance away. All made the process most painless. I would recommend this hotel to all who want to see a quiet side of Portugal.

Great stay. A lovely outside pool, with bar and café serving drinks and snacks. Dinner in the restaurant was good too. Large comfortable room with a good bed and decent aircon, plus a small fridge.
Breakfast was OK but the orange "juice" was some sort of cheap powdered or diluted drink that just happened to be orange in colour. Would have liked and expected something better. Equally the coffee-style brown drink tasted vile but they were offering proper coffee from the machine behind the bar, free of charge. You just have to know to ask someone.
A nice break. Would stay again.
