The property is great. Located near Mt Etna and wine country. The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is exceptional including all of the restaurant staff.
If I had one observation to improve it would be the attentiveness of the front desk staff. They are not always available and do not always respond ti email.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful.
Breakfast is fairly standard continental style.
The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania.

Beautiful view of Isola Bella from property. Hotel is very dated, but clean and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Know that you are not near the center of Taormina and must take cable car to get to it.

It is not a 4 stars hotel. The hot water stopped working and we were informed that the showers had to be very fast or we would have to wait for the heater to heat it up again.
