Beautiful Hotel and Great Location! Staff were so friendly and the waitress at The Dark Hour was so educational about the history of Boston! Love it!

The staff were very helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well appointed.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt and had a mixed experience. When I first arrived, the room smelled musty, so I asked to change rooms. The second room was slightly better but still had a faint musty odor, which was disappointing. On the positive side, dining was very convenient. There’s a restaurant right in the building, and it was easy to get a good meal without having to leave the hotel. The hotel staff overall were super nice and helpful, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the shuttle driver left a bad impression. When we came outside, the shuttle was there with the door open, but the driver was nowhere to be seen. We waited outside until he finally came out and rather rudely told us, “Get in, the door is open.” Then, instead of dropping us at the departures area at the airport, he dropped us at arrivals, which was inconvenient and unprofessional. Overall, the friendliness of most staff and the convenient dining were highlights, but the musty rooms and unpleasant shuttle experience brought down my stay.

The Harbor View Hotel is exactly what holiday dreams are made of. The property is absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained with breathtaking views and elegant charm throughout. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was warm, attentive, and incredibly polite, making us feel truly welcomed. The entire hotel smells amazing, like a luxury spa. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Did I mention how gorgeous the entire property is? Our trip to Martha’s Vineyard wouldn’t have been half as magical without this hotel. It was truly the highlight of our stay. This is hands down the place to stay when visiting the Vineyard. I already can’t wait to return!

AKA Boston Commons is an absolute delight. As a guest who has enjoyed their locations in Manhattan, Washington D.C., and Miami — you cannot beat their elegant, charming hospitality. This location in particular was extraordinary — every team member was fabulous. Sherley at the front desk was stellar. She assisted dutifully with my luggage, accommodations, and thoughtful care. A special appreciation for the doormen who were beyond kind, as well. I stayed for 4 days in late June, early July 2025. As for the rooms, we had a beautiful view of the Park — amazing! The rooms were sizable and perfectly clean — and very quiet. The restroom is very spacious and modern, with plenty of counter space for glam. Each room is further equipped with a snack & mini bar, with plenty of refrigerator space. Their in-room coffee and tea selection is excellent, as well. The lobby, lounge, & AKA’s amenities are top-notch. Each day from 4-5PM, complimentary wine is available for guests — both a Sauvignon Blanc & a Pinot Noir. The restaurant downstairs is fabulous & should be added to your list! The surrounding area is clean, walkable, and safe. You cannot beat this location — it is right in the heart of Downtown Boston. There is so much history packed into this corner of Massachusetts! The train & subway system is navigable & reliable, with several stations within 1mi of the hotel. I will certainly return with much excitement!
