An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Halekulani Our honeymoon at Halekulani in Honolulu was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. The spa experience was a true highlight—luxurious, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after long days of exploring. Housekeeping was impeccable; our room was always spotless, with thoughtful nightly treats that made each evening feel special. One of the most memorable touches was a surprise bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon—such a kind and generous gesture. Poolside service was equally amazing, with staff always ready to offer a refreshing drink or towel without hesitation. Every detail at Halekulani was perfect. The service, comfort, and personalized touches made it the most memorable trip we've ever taken. We left feeling relaxed and incredibly grateful. It makes me sad to leave this beautiful, peaceful place. The Kahala is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—at least recently. From the valet staff to the front desk to the servers and housekeepers, the Kahala provides excellent and friendly service. The location is convenient—close enough to Waikiki, diamond head, and other tourist spots but not too close to the noise and crowds. Our view was fantastic—we had a spacious balcony overlooking the pristine golf course next door and the mountains. Our room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The Plumeria was great and there were a handful of other restaurants but I do wish they had more lunch and brunch options as a lot of them opened only for dinner. Their beach was also wonderful—calm and incredibly relaxing, providing plenty of space to reflect and take in the amazing ocean views. I certainly would want to come back and stay here again should I come back to town!

The hotel was lovely, our room was amazing and we had a lovely view from the balcony. The beach and pool towels we so handy, we loved the gym and the pool. There was a bus stop right outside and the beach and shops were so close. The entertainment and cheese and wine night were absolutely brilliant and I loved having free coffee every morning. I stayed here as a mum with my 2 boys and felt completely safe and comfortable. The only negative was the lifts took forever and were very crowded but I think there my have been an issue with a couple of them so I'm sure it's been sorted by now. The best thing about this hotel were the staff on the front desk. They were always so friendly and helpful. The lady that checked us in, I think her name was Biki, she was absolutely amazing. We had just landed from Japan and had a 16 hour time difference and were exhausted. I didn't expect to be allowed to check in early but she arranged it so we could and she also helped out by moving things around so that we could stay in the same room for 6 nights as I'd made 2 bookings over the 6 nights in different rooms. The beautiful room that she arranged for us, letting us check in early and not having to move rooms really made our stay here amazing and we are so grateful to her. She is a credit to the hotel and I can't thank her enough.
