Hotel was acceptable, with clean rooms and ample breakfast. There is a feeling that it’s overdue a significant refurbishment, but comfortable stay overall. Important note: this might be a cultural difference, but the inclusive spa visit makes flip-flops AND swimming cap mandatory - if you don’t have your own upon arrival the hotel requires you to purchase both from the spa reception. This is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in my experience, so worth specifically mentioning.

Absolutamente fantástico. Es un sitio de ensueño, la comida maravillosa y el lugar impactante. Lo más especial sin embargo es la atención del personal. Se comprometen a la llegada de hacerte sentir en casa y realmente lo logran. No hubo detalle que no atendieran y momento en el cual no nos hicieran sentir como dueños de ese maravilloso palacio. Hotel Bahía has an unbeatable waterfront location, placing the bay and the Botín Center just steps away. The rooms are comfortable with beautiful views. A perfect base for exploring Santander.

A simple but attractive little hotel, in a very pleasant rural situation.
