The hotel’s location was extremely central, easy walking distance to all of the attractions on Wellington and Elgin Streets (houses of Parliament, Supreme Court, National Arts Centre, etc.). The room was clean and beautiful and had a full kitchen, which saved us some money on meals. The parking was directly below the hotel and the elevators came very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Ottawa!

recently stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Ottawa for a 1-night business trip, and overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient experience. Location: The hotel is well-situated in Ottawa’s west end, with easy highway access and close proximity to Kanata’s business district. It’s a short drive to downtown, though not within walking distance of major attractions. Plenty of parking was available on-site, which was a big plus. Check-In & Service: Check-in was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and helpful with local recommendations. I appreciated the quick service and warm welcome after a long travel day. Room: My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for a business traveler. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the desk setup was perfect for working. I also appreciated the microwave and mini-fridge. The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure and plenty of towels. Amenities: I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting.

By my own error,I inadvertently booked the room for June 26, clearly, given my flight information (through Expedia) I was still in Edinburgh on June 26.The Sandman did not charge megor this error, albeit my bad,will I receive a refund from Expediafor the booking not used.
