Terceira Island Waterpark Holidays

This property is so lovely. A wonderful and interesting layout, with a really nice pool, a chapel and nice balconies. The morning breakfast is very nice, with a few hot options and lots of fruit, breads and cheeses to round out the choices. It was a nice walk down to the busier part of the area. The only tiny issue is that some of the rooms on the first floor have a musty smell, which we got use to but the second floor doesn’t seem to have the issue ( older parts I suppose vs newer). Also the parking is fantastic here, lots of room in their own parking lot. But the real major bonus was how I was treated after I fell hiking and broke my ankle. Many of the staff ( Anna food and beverage, Andre front desk and many more) did whatever they could to help get me thru a rough time. More pillows, lots of ice, a cane and where to get prescriptions filled. I will never forget how kind and caring everyone was during a rough time. I recommend staying here and we will be back ourselves. ❤️

Nice comfortable Hotel, reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful. The.pool and spa are a good bonus. Location is excellent for walking.

This hotel is a standout in the area. Perfect location, easy and accessible parking, in-house dining, and the decor was outstanding. Room was spacious, had everything we could need for our stay. Our one issue was the same as many have noted in reviewes: the air conditioners don't seem to really work. The one in the bedroom seemed to sort of work, but definitely never reached the set temperatures, so we ensured we kept the bedroom door closed at all times to give it the best chance. The air conditioner in the living area responsible for the rest of the apartment definitely didn't do anything besides blowing room temperature air. At some points, it was better to open the patio door for the less warm outside air. This should definitely be looked into as it was pretty uncomfortable.

There is only room for a few chaise lounges so they may not always be available. The hotel is designed so you never have to venture out, but you don't want to miss walking the streets of beautiful Angro do Heroismo.
