Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Kid-friendly. Spa. Sargasso prevents beach use. Excellent variety of food and activities. Avoid signing in for the 90 mins talk about share time option with penalty and a trick with free stuff for you or your kids.

First time to Mexico and Cancun with a 7 and 3 year old. Kids had loads of fun, service was excellent and food options are huge. This will be our go to place for Cancun going forward.

Meals at the buffets were all wonderful. 3 are open for breakfast and lunch. One is open for dinner. We could not book reservations at other restaurants but they only had -4 tables being used. Could keep beach buffet open for dinner and be able to make reservations at check in. Pool could be open till 2200 for adults. The rooms (jr suite) was large, cool, comfortable. Beyond expectations! The staff All fantastic! Cart driver Eric showed us how to get around. Playa and pools Fantastic!! Clean, lots of space. Snorkel by rocks. NO seaweed. Just lovely. What a wonderful place thank you for keeping the natural animals and fauna. Thank you for sharing it.

The property was kept very well groomed. The dining options were excellent. The staff were polite and always helpful. I have travelled extensively and have never encountered aggression with trying to get my future business as I did on this visit. The salesman actually commandered my luggage tags and said he would take care of it. After realizing that I was not going to buy a membership he had to chase us down to return the luggage tags which I felt were held hostage. It was not a pleasant introduction to the property. He basically wasted the first hour of my time at The Grand when an impression could have been made more positive. I belong to both Disney and Sandals and neither have been so oblivious to the fact I was on holiday and wanted to see the property not hear a salespitch. On a very positive note the fitness center is superb. The beach was not ideal due to sargassum so working out became a part of my visit. Again on leaving there was another aggressive young salesman and all this achieved was leaving me with a negative impression. There are so many positive things about the three resorts that it is sad to find this impression is one that lingers.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent food—I highly recommend it. The only minor complaint I have is that the nightclub is basically only open for one hour; that’s the only downside.

We had a wonderful stay at Moon Palace Cancun. The resort was beautiful, the food was great, and there were so many activities for kids—my children had an amazing time, and we truly enjoyed our vacation. However, there was one issue that affected our experience. We traveled as two families and requested rooms close to each other, but we were placed far apart. Unfortunately, when we spoke with the staff, the situation was not resolved, which was disappointing. Overall, it is a fantastic resort for families, and we had a great time, but I hope they improve how they handle room placement for guests traveling together.
