This is our second time in 2 years. First time we stayed at Nizuc without our kids, second time Sunrise, with kids. We are always very impressed with the resort staff, cleanliness, prompt service, great restaurant choices, great amenities, pretty good evening entertainment. Safe, secure property. Beach sucks. Dont stay here for the beach. The pools are great! The wait staff at the pools, and the swim-up bars are wonderful. Kids activites are more than adequate. We like Nizuc better for an adult-only trip. There are fewer children there.

Room did not have hot water last two days

This was my second time staying at Finest Playa Mujeres. My first visit was about 10 years ago when the resort had just opened, and I’m happy to say the quality has remained very good over the years. The service continues to be excellent. I especially want to recognize Jeremías at the bar and Julio at the Finest Club bar. Both were very kind and attentive and truly made our experience better. The drinks are even better than I remember from my first visit, and the food was also very good with plenty of variety. Like any place, there are always small things that could improve. When we visited Domo, the restaurant in the Finest Club area, the air conditioning was not working, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Also, at times there was only one bartender at certain bars, especially at the pool bar, which can be a lot for one person when it gets busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort. It works well for families because there are activities for children, but it also has adults-only areas for those looking for a quieter stay. I didn’t travel with my kids this time, so I can’t comment in detail on the children’s activities, but it was clear there were many options available. The rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, outdoor pool was nice. There is no beach front and the seaweed has taken over what is there. The common areas were not busy at all, this may be due to part of the resort being residential. Overall a good resort.

My wife and I are currently finishing up an amazing stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise – El Beso in Playa del Carmen, and we truly cannot say enough good things about this resort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, extremely well maintained, and the adults-only El Beso section offers a great balance of relaxation while still having plenty to do. The food throughout the resort has been excellent with a wide variety of restaurants, and every meal we’ve had has been fresh and enjoyable. The service here is really what makes the experience stand out. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There has been entertainment and activities every night, so we’ve always had something fun to do. One moment that really stood out during our stay was when our flight back to New York was cancelled due to bad weather. The guest services team immediately stepped in and helped accommodate our extended stay quickly and professionally, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. A huge thank you to the guest services staff, especially Fernando and management team for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Five stars from both my wife and me. We are leaving tomorrow morning, but we already know we will absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.
