Moulic Wine Region Ski Holidays

If staying in a season other than summer, this may be an okay place. They have a ton of rules and are not really a hotel, more on a medium stay apartment. Full kitchen, which is nice. Extra charges for everything made it feel extremely cheap and had us anxious about random charges the entire stay. The beds are not made on check in. You are expected to mop and vacuum the floors, gather all bed sheets and all trash, do all the dishes and generally do all the things normally a hotel would do for you. We also stayed when it was extremely hot, and ended up sleeping in the car so we weren't just in lakes of sweat. No screens on the windows so bugs would come in immediately if you opened them. Overall, for tourists expecting a hotel experience this isn't it, but for those who know what they are getting (if it isn't too hot) this may be acceptable

Even though I only stayed one night, the experience was amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, making my stay a very memorable one. The food is incredible, whether you choose to dine A La Carte or try one of their very well put together Degustacion menus. Great selection of wine and they take great deal of pride in presenting the local Bordeaux region, its wines and local delicacies. Highly recommended.

What a great pleasure the hotel was. Came for the Caves but would return just for the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Unfortunately didn’t manage to have proper dinner as didn’t book in time - the restaurant is only small. Breakfasts were a highlight already though! We had a lovely family room which was a great size for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Plus a lovely large terrace. My only complaint would be for a family of 4 , giving us 2 double beds wasn’t practical. The sofa bed was too small for 2 teenagers of different sex! Or even a teenager + parent. We ended up requesting an additional camp bed which I don’t think we should have had to pay for. Overall a lovely stay though and we will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Would have no hesitation going back. Friendly staff, lovely bar, and very clean and modern.
