Clean room with a view of the beach! One caveat - if you’re expecting a balcony none of the beach rooms have balconies. Also I highly recommend a room with a view or otherwise you may have a room that overlooks the atrium with less sunlight. Another piece of advice - if you book an executive room it already comes with breakfast so don’t double pay! You also have the choice between taking breakfast in the executive lounge which is quieter but has slightly less options or the restaurant which has a larger buffet. In addition the executive lounge does have snacks, cold drinks, and a Nespresso machine available for use throughout the day and they have a happy hour every evening with light dinner and refreshments and a bar.

Good place to stay. Wish the AC got cooler but it was good enough. The hotel wasn’t fantastic but wasn’t bad either. I’d stay here again. Good location too.

Extremely disappointing experience at a hotel marketed as 5-star. We experienced a series of basic service failures that made our stay unnecessarily stressful. On arrival there were no porters and nobody offered assistance with our luggage. We had to use the bell trolley ourselves. We were told the trolley would be collected, but the following morning it was still there. The checkout experience was worse. At 11:45am, I requested help bringing our bags down. Nobody came. I chased at 12:30, 12:45 and 1pm, and still received no assistance. By 1:30pm, I had started moving the luggage myself. Only then did someone finally arrive. We had a flight to catch and almost missed it because of the delay. This was incredibly stressful and completely avoidable. Communication was also difficult, with limited English making it harder to resolve the situation quickly. When I asked for a manager, I was told one would come, but nobody did. Christian then became involved and told me he wasn’t a manager, despite me having been told otherwise. Another staff member, Pablo, appeared unexpectedly and interrupted my conversation. The interaction left me feeling intimidated and uncomfortable. There was no meaningful apology and, from what I could see, no investigation into what had happened. For a property presented as 5-star, I expected basic organisation, luggage assistance and professional handling of a guest complaint. Instead, a simple checkout became a prolonged and stressful ordeal!

Great breakfast, staff is super helpful and nice. Good amenities in the room. The rooftop pool / bar after 6pm becomes open to everyone and does not feel anymore like a privilege for guests: one day it was even booked for an event and the pool was unavailable to paying guests!

The customer service and the staff was great.

Hola!! Si vas de vacaciones a Río el lugar para alojarte es “el Janeiro”. Creo que 5 estrellas es poco. Desde la atención, el servicio, la excelencia de su personal en cada una de las áreas, la mejor ubicación de todo Río y cada detalle demuestra que NADA fue liberado al azar en este hotel. MARAVILLOSO. Gracias, sin duda pronto volveremos.
