Good room,suoer efficient and friendly staff and great food. Close enough to the main road for easy access but very quiet amd 2 minutes from a beautiful beach - clean and almost deserted

Lovely large hotel with beautiful grounds, surrounded by coconut trees, the beach cabanas, pool area are nice. Room is period colonial, it could with upgrading the rooms, the tv was small and not digital so unable to watch any apps of my own and there was only one English language movie channel that wasn’t very clear. Whilst the rooms are large and spacious especially the beach villas, it’s not what I would call a five star hotel, as staff and property lack the professionalism, to provide a five star service, the sheets and towels are clean but constantly stained but this is not the first hotel in the Gambia, where this happens. whilst I was there. I also contracted a tummy bug from the food at the hotel, the hotel management were not very helpful in this regard. I was only asked by one of the duty managers at checkout about my experience and investigation made. Overall it’s a period property the grounds and individual members were lovely and friendly, however I would not stay here again.

Awesome property! Beautiful grounds. Staff is excellent, courteous and helpful. Onsite owners are a breath of fresh air. Food is high quality and delicious. Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. I found nothing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. Outstanding!

The hotel had everything to be perfect, beachfront, nice pool, big rooms, But somehow I found the staff not very willing to help, ok breakfast (I just ate omelet every day) and fruits when they had more than apples and oranges), the gym had broken equipment, no amenities in the rooms, and Sundays they open to visitors and everything is crowded
