(4,658 reviews) We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and we wouldn't go back for a few reasons. The staff was not very friendly, the heater was broke the first night and we froze all night along with not getting any sleep. The outlets didn't work next to the bed which left me needing to sit on the floor close to an outlet to use my phone. Then the toilet ran which was not a big deal but this being on top of everything else including the beds being extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are terrible. I am not a princess or a complainer but this hotel needs work and some TLC. The only two things I liked about the hotel was convenience in location and the upgrade. I have stayed many places and I will say this hotel was the worst we ever stayed, unfortunately. (1,001 reviews) We stayed at Alyeska Resort for my husband’s birthday, and overall it was an amazing experience, especially the hydrotherapy spa. If you’re considering going, do it. We booked a Signature King with a Mountain View and arrived before noon to check in. The front desk wasn’t able to check us in early and recommended we go ahead and enjoy the hydrotherapy circuit since we already had reservations for the day. The spa is open from 10 AM to 9 PM, and honestly, it’s the highlight of the resort. The hot/cold therapy experience, relaxation areas, and scenery made it feel like a true getaway. We could have stayed there all day (and almost did). When we returned to check in, we hit a small snag, the room we prepaid through Expedia (Mountain View) wasn’t showing correctly in their system. Initially, we were offered a room without the view we paid for, which was frustrating, especially since this was meant to be a celebration. After speaking with the manager, who was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely helpful, we were upgraded to a high floor with the correct room type and a beautiful mountain view. That gesture absolutely made the stay feel special, and I appreciated the empathy and willingness to resolve the issue. Food-wise, we tried a few of the restaurants onsite and everything was consistently delicious. Service around the resort, from spa staff to restaurant servers, was warm and welcoming.
