Good stay

Hotel Atlantico Madrid is conveniently located right on the Gran Via with an assortment of restaurants and stores within a few blocks. We took in a flamenco show just a few blocks away, and it was also an easy, 10-15 min walk to tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace. Our room was on the small side, but clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck, including the free espresso & cappuccino from 3:30 pm on, and appreciated the fact that we could also sit inside on couches on cool, rainy evenings.

Para arrancar tenes que subir unas escaleras con las maletas, la habitación que dice ser superior , tiene la cama en una posición donde no se puede pasar para el otro lado , falta luz y no tiene un espejo de cuerpo entero.

Great staff, always helpful and always available.

If you want to sleep, don't stay at this hotel. We stayed on the first floor and weren't able to sleep all night. There were trash/recycle trucks making loud noises while collecting the trash starting at 12am and went on till 3 am. At 6am it was the neighbors turn to make noises while bringing their trash cans in. At 8:45 the cleaning crew started vacuuming the hallway outside our room. We paid to spend the night and sleep and we sure didn't get our moneys worth. The shower was also not working properly. The place to hang the shower head was broken and the water went all over the bathroom. I think that explains why I found a bucket and a mop inside the bathroom when we go in. Overall, I wouldn't be staying here again.
