Let's start with the positives. The staff vas helpfult and good. The breakfast was one of the best ones I have had in a hotel, but the deserts are just way to sweet, cut down on the sugar guys. The gym is very good and has everything you need for a nice exercise. The pool and sauna is nice but unfortunately very greedy and stupid to charge extra to use them. The hotel is already expensive and off location as it is, at least you should have the pool and sauna included in the price like every other hotel on planet earth, whats the point in visiting this hotel otherwise if you need to pay extra for almost everything except the room? Overall I would rate it a strong 3.5 because of the nice breakfast and staff.

Checkin: whilst only being second in the queue, it still took 25 minutes to check-in. Only two members of staff checking everyone in, continuously preoccupied with enquires from other guests who didn't respect any form of queue. The gym and pool were utter shambles. Incredibly small, group of men drinking beer in the pool - complete free for all, very dirty and generally unpleasant experience. Only redeeming feature was the friendliest guy at breakfast who is a credit to the hotel. Other than that, below normal expectations and won't be returning.

The view overlooking Oslo is breathtaking. The hotel rooms are NOT made for couples. The rooms are ridiculously small. The toilets were so uncomfortable because the sink was literally in your lap. Lifting suitcases up and down three flights of stairs was not fun, since there isn’t an elevator on the property.

Great location, great staff. Only if you wish to cross over to Norway, make sure it is on your rental car if you are renting one. The border crossing is literally 1000 feet away.
