Reception truly was very welcoming and I do not want my review to reflect on them at all. Could not have been happier with them. That being said the property condition was just not it. There was mud EVERYWHERE; black snow, bit construction signs and and large construction trucks - it just totally totally ruined the feel of the place. The cabin itself was pretty low end in my opinion. Coming from The Northern Lights Village - this was definitely a downgrade and did not feel luxurious or relaxing at all :/ the hottub was nice but the view was black snow, mud and an ugly wooden panel; again just ruining the entire moment. The cabins also had these drapes that were very annoying to deal with and quite literally block the Aurora. I had to wait several pictures to remove the drapes. Disappointed by the location but very happy with the Aurora Borealis. I hate to leave such a critical review but I think it’s important for consumers to know what they are getting for $600/night. Value is just not there.
