Great place for complete relaxation!

We loved The Guilded Iguana for so many reasons! The staff is excellent, the restaurant food is exceptional, and the property is gorgeous and well maintained. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a great week at Esh! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the property and the pool. We made use of the sauna and cold plunge daily. We even saw monkeys while hanging out on the property. Yeh breakfast was delicious and plentiful keeping us full to start the day. Although the probably is a bit outside of town, the shuttle service is convenient to get to and from t e Esh to town.

Overall, the staff could use a customer service refresher; we felt that only one or two people were attentive. The room we were assigned has gone far too long without maintenance, furniture that has already reached the end of its useful life. The cleanliness was poor. The surrounding areas are poorly maintained; they need to take urgent action and close for major maintenance. The only thing that lives up to the price is the food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner); the drinks and cocktails are of very poor quality. We have stayed at various all-inclusive resorts in different countries around the world, but this was the first one that left us feeling disappointed.
