Loved the property and the staff was very responsive

Fabulous breakfast! Very clean, but the elevator had an odd smell which is why i put 4 stars. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. Location is very quiet with not much close by. If you’re not one to walk a lot, plan to use uber to get anywhere. It is uphill so we got a decent workout walking back and forth. Slept wonderfully and since Split was our first stop, was nice to have the right environment for sleep.

Our rooms were very closely located to the old town - nice and walkable. Also there's a car park across the road from the reception, very handy if you're in a hire car. Our rooms (we had 2) were very nicely fitted out, and had a coffee machine - very welcome! There are many rooms in different converted (houses?) along a few streets all very close together. Breakfast is a bit of a walk in the morning, I guess depending on where your rooms are located. Ours were near the reception building, and about 5 mins walk around a couple of streets to breakfast. Breakfast itself is a disappointment. There's a small-ish room with all the food laid out in one area with little space to move when other guests are also trying to get to the food/the toaster/the plates & bowls. There's a fairly meagre selection of cereal, scrambled egg, ham, and bread. Coffee is a nespresso machine that the staff just keep on running. The same room has tables for the guests to eat at, again with not a lot of space. There's a bit of fruit, but it goes quickly - I think the staff are supposed to restock it?

Nice and relevant communication with the host along the way. Very well equipped apartment right on the beach with good parking. We felt very comfortable in the apartment.

A nice relaxing couple of nights after sailing on a boat for a week. Good spacious room, nice amenities. Breakfast was very impressive!

Perfect base for exploring Split- close walk to old town! We absolutely loved our stay at PIETRA ROSSA! The location couldn’t be more perfect—tucked right in near the heart of the Old Town and port, so everything was just a short walk away. Despite being so central, it felt quiet and peaceful inside. The room itself was spotless and had a nice modern feel. The air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver (especially during the summer heat!). We were a little nervous about the self-check-in process, but it couldn’t have been easier. The host Ana sent super clear instructions and was quick to respond to any questions we had. It made arriving feel seamless and stress-free. She arranged to greet us at the apartment and was extremely friendly and helpful. Honestly, it was a great stay and we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place in Split don’t hesitate to book this one! We will definitely be back. 😊
