Caldey Island Scuba Diving Holidays

Parking was good but generally a tired hotel (not really 4* in my opinion). The Cardiff Bay is also seems to getting somewhat neglected.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We didn't get chance to use the pool so can't comment on those facilities but what we could see from the window looked good. There was air conditioning in the restaurant but not in our room so that made the room quite hot and stuffy even with the window open. However, there was a fan in the room and that did help a little. Overall, it's a lovely hotel with staff who couldn't do enough, the decor is a little dated but we would stay there again.

Exceptional staff in the restaurant and room service very responsive and helpful. Room spacious 5 minutes away from the City Center walking for shopping and meals including grocery. Would stay again. Value for money. Nice area to just sit by the bar. Very comfortable. Didn’t use gym or spa but would have if time permitted.

Location was great 1min to the beach and a 3 min walk to the port bars and restaurants.

In addition to my very positive reviews of this hotel (above), I would like to give special recognition to Fatima at the Front Desk. She did an excellent job and went out of her way to help me out on multiple occasions during my week’s stay at the hotel. These included answering many questions, placing me in a well-located room upon arrival (different from the "assigned room"), and facilitating future reservations at your hotel. She is an ideal person to welcome people to your hotel due to her knowledge and sunny disposition – recognizing that many guests (myself included) are exhausted after strenuous and stressful travel to Cardiff (transatlantic flight!)

Hotel from the outside looks very dated and shabby. Staff helpful and Room was clean and looked like the pictures, the £10 parking fee that was a surprise. Location is not very central so a taxi into Cardiff will cost approx £15 to £20 pounds each way just something to bare in mind
