(1,006 reviews) The people were absolutely great every one of them. The food was wonderful with many options. Pedro made our pool time fun. His attention to detail was very impressive. The room although very clean and comfortable was not that great. The whirlpool looked dirty and took forever to fill because the drain was not working well. Lights burnt out in the shower and other places. We all have a wonderful time and we are very glad we made the trip. Not your fault but getting there was a pain and waiting for resort shuttle at the airport was very confusing and so so hot. (389 reviews) This was my first experience at Zel Punta Cana, and overall it was a great stay with many positive highlights. The concierge team was excellent very informative and welcoming. My favorite staff members were Juan Gonzalez and Rafael, who truly stood out with their professionalism and kindness. I’d also like to recognize the woman who delivered room service(Daisy), as well as the bartenders and DJ, who were all great and added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The restaurants were very good, and the service was accommodating and pleasant. However, the food could be improved. I would love to see more variety in the menu, especially for room service, along with better availability. Food temperature should also be maintained warmer when served. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, though the cleaning service could definitely be improved for a better overall experience. Since this is a new hotel in Punta Cana, I believe there is room to elevate the level of service with additional training for some staff members. The one area that really needs attention is beach service. Unfortunately, I constantly had to get up to get my own drinks, as servers were rarely available or visible. Overall, Zel Punta Cana has great potential. With some improvements in food service, housekeeping, staff training, and beach service, this hotel could become an exceptional destination. I would still recommend it and look forward to seeing how it improves over time. (1,003 reviews) We stayed in the preferred section in a bungalow suite. Everything was fantastic. The preferred area at the beach had a lot of space between chairs and was easy to get chairs. I cannot say enough about how amazing the people who work there are! Jesus at breakfast, Angela and Morris on the beach always made sure we had everything we needed. But there was one person who went above and beyond…our butler Ricardo. He treated us like family and took care of everything! We ended up having to visit the hospital, and he went with us and stayed there the whole time…until early morning! He even arranged for the most yummy grilled chicken to be delivered to our room at 2:30am when we got back (kudos to the chef…it was delicious). We always felt safe and well taken care of at the resort! We will definitely be back!
