Staff rude, room basic and damaged. Also, the shower is not working properly. Bar basic, beer was so bad. They never restocked the towels for shower.

We had a nice stay at Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites. The resort is very big and beautiful, and it looks especially beautiful at night. The food was good, and the restaurants were great.
The main disappointment for us was the beach. There was a lot of seaweed, and the water looked brown, so it wasn’t the clear Caribbean water we were expecting.
We also had trouble making restaurant reservations through the Iberostar app because it wasn’t working for us.
When we were leaving today, our Talixo taxi driver came to pick us up. We were very happy with Talixo’s service, but I didn’t like that security questioned the driver about why he came to the front of the lobby. I didn’t think that was necessary and it left us with a negative feeling at the end of our stay.
Overall, the resort is beautiful, the food is good, and we enjoyed our stay, but the beach conditions and the situation with security were disappointing.
