8.8/10 Excellent! (36 reviews)
Cozy quiet riad which was easy to find, not overly close to the busy souks, but still near a market street. Even though we arrived early, Youssef greeted us warmly, inviting for tea by the pool. Giving a map of the medina, he took it upon himself to point out highlights in it, recommending different spots for what we said we were interested in. He gave us much time in discussing the culture of Marrakech and Morocco as a whole.
Room ac worked well. Showerhead is installed a little too high, causing splash-out. Complimentary q-tips and makeup removal pads were provided. Pool is more of a wader which is common in a riad, a little bigger than a hot tub. Breakfast was various breads with some spreads.
Nearby convenience store was honest and did not overcharge.

Stayed in the luxury suite with dinner added in. Room was like the photos and had a massive bed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely as well. The food is nice with a variety of choices for dinner. We would pick on starter, two mains and a dessert which was included in the price. Drinks were extra. Pool sunlounger were plentiful and you had your pick. No rushing to get a lounger. Pool was freezing but adequate for a few laps and to cool down. On checking out we were offered a room to relax in as our airport pickup truck as at 5.30pm and we checked out at 11am. That was so unexpected but much appreciated. Taj Atlas is the boutique hotel you go to when you just want to relax and chill. Biggest plus for me when I go on holiday is comfortable beds and a decent shower. I would recommend Taj Atlas for a break from hectic life. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but was perfect for us for 3 nights. Marrakesh is just over an hour away by taxi.

This is going to sound like a rant but it's definitely not however! Here goes! The communal areas of the hotel were fabulous and all of it was scrumptiously clean, the staff couldn't do enough for you. However our room was very disappointing. This time we had a family room with two bedrooms a kitchen area. And living room. Bedrooms were ok, living area , bathroom and hall/ entrance were all ok but. Sink in the bathroom was falling off it's pedestal, toilet seat was very loose and couldn't be tightened (I tried) safe in the bedroom had full instructions but wouldn't work. I later discovered you had to have it activated at reception, but noby told us that, the wardrobe doors wouldnt close so we had to pop something in front to hold them shut, the kitchen area had cupboards but no cooking items or crockery, it had drawers but no cutlery, it had an oven that didn't work, it was gas and wasn't connected! It had a tall fridge freezer that lite up but didn't work and had a very small fridge as well that did work! All that was very odd I thought, a virtually empty room. If you don't want them used or they are broken get rid! The drinks in the hotel were the same as English prices really which in comparison made them expensive but outside the hotel they were much cheaper. I didn't but my family visited the same hotel last year and said the rooms were wonderful! Overall it wouldn't stop me visiting again but I wouldn't stay. As long (we only stayed a week) the room was very dated..

8.2/10 Very Good! (84 reviews)
The staff were helpful and very nice. There are several buildings so unfortunately we had to walk down three flights of stairs, then down a short street then up three flights of stairs for breakfast every day. That was a bit of an inconvenience. The main building seems to be a little nicer than the building we were in. The towels I believe are the same towels I donated to Goodwill in 1982 sadly, one day we returned from our outing and there were no towels at all in our room because they don’t have enough towels to replace your towels when they’re washing them. Thus you are without towels sometimes for periods of time. Unacceptable.Breakfast was nice but no protein except for a small portion of yogurt. Eggs would’ve been nice.

The hotel is beautiful with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first. The staff are excellent and the food is delicious. The spa treatments are also very good. Great to be able to pop into the Medina using the free shuttle too. Thanks for another lovely stay!

Loved everything about this Riad. Perfect location. On a quiet street but steps away from Souks, Jemaa-el, and hotel Tazi which is the pick up point for most excursions. The room were clean, comfortable and aesthetic to the cultural. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help. Breakfast was so nice on the roof and delicious. Highly recommend!

7.8/10 Good! (44 reviews)
We are three women in our 20s who stayed here for four nights.
The staff was very very welcoming and respectful. They even served tea and pastries when we checked in and gave us an itinerary for Marrakesh.
Although we had a lot of problems from check in to check out. We has problems with our shuttle to the hotel. The driver wasn‘t there and all of a sudden there were two drivers there at the airport. When we tried communicating with the hotel about it over the phone. They just hung up on us.
Then when we checked in our room wasn‘t clean. For example the floor was very dirty and sticky. The drain in the shower was broken and we had hairs and stains on the bed sheets. We complained and the staff immediately apologised and said that we can change the room. The new room was fine although the toilet was shaking and felt like it would just fall over if you stand up too fast… And the lights and water weren‘t working for two hours one evening. The breakfast was just not what we imagined. It seemed unhygienic. There was a sick cat throwing up next to our table but the staff didn’t do anything about it. We never came for breakfast again after that morning.
At Check Out therer were some mistakes with the bill and they almost overcharged us. So check your bill!
Overall we felt safe because the reception is there 24/7 and they were very nice. MAYBE you can’t come to Marrakesh with european hygienic standards and expect the same as in spain and I don‘t mean it in a negative way
