Excellent location. Two separate bedrooms was very helpful for us. Not much standing room in either bedroom (low ceiling). This was managed by a hotel with 24 hour front desk directly across the street. Access was up an elevator in an apartment/like building, then across a short outdoor catwalk to get to the unit.

Excellent location to explore Reykjavík on foot or take tours using Reykjavík as home base. Bakery, restaurant and bar on site were very good. When we booked, we thought breakfast was included but it was not. Room did not have a thermostat to control temp and it was very warm. I would still recommend staying here.

I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life

We liked the hotel but the sheets were awful. It looked and felt just like a mattress pad cover and i didnt want to lay on it. The wallpaper was peeling and the bathroom door didnt lock. Liked the room other than that
