Northern Spain Pet-friendly Holidays

This hotel is darling and very nicely located for dining and shopping options. Get a room with a river view! Staff were very friendly, and check-in went smoothly. The room wasn't huge, but comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was also a fine size and clean. It is outfitted with Ritual's products, but missing both conditioner and body lotion. The carpeting in the hallway could do with replacing - stained anything doesn't lend to a place feeling clean and well kept. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed that a lot. Everything was tasty. There is parking directly under the hotel that is a bit spendy but very convenient. Other parking options were shared with us, which was very kind. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

In the whole our stay was comfortable and the hotel very central. Our daughter and her husband travelled with us and their small dog. The cost for the dog was extremely expensive €55 per day. I’ve never experienced this cost anywhere. Our room Albeit comfortable the cleaning was very poor. Carpet unhoobered. Washbasins and bathroom not cleaned daily. Not worth the cost for sure.

Very disappointed! Hotel advertised having a restaurant and cafeteria, neither of which were open! Hotel also advertised having wine and champagne available but were told at reception that only food and drink available was from a vending machine. As there were no bars or restaurants nearby in this industrial port area, we ended up with a packet sandwich from the vending machine! For info, it was a Friday night stay in June.
